Barcelona: the land of sea and cava

I felt once more how simple and frugal a thing is happiness: a glass of wine, a roast chestnut, a wretched little brazier, the sound of the sea. Nothing else.” said Nikos Kazantzakis in 1946 in his novel Zorba the Greek (I haven’t read it yet, but after I stumbled upon this quote, I assure you I will 😁).

I think he was right, because what else is happiness but a glass of good wine/cava/champagne/vermouth (insert your drink here) and the sound of the waves biding farewell to the day 🌊☀️ as the sky turns pink? And then it gets even better: the last rays of the sun are falling down on Barcelona skyline, you take a sip of a cold cava and all of a sudden your problems seem to be very far from you, maybe somewhere on the coast 🏖; because you simply can’t be worried or unhappy on the boat tour in Barcelona 😍!

At some point, you actually realise that you barely see the Barcelona skyline 🏙 – you are now too far from the coast and all you can see  is infinite blueness around you, waves coming and going, singing you a lullaby while you are falling asleep on the bow  with a drink in your hand ⛵️ (my tip: don’t fall asleep while holding wine, the consequences might include some ruined outfit).

The time will pass by super fast and you’ll realise that you are approaching Barcelona again, the perfect Barcelona boat tour has finished… The lights are on, the city is shining – you definitely don’t want the evening to come to an end. In this case the best thing you can do is to head to a wine bar to finish your little adventure in the best possible way.

Whether you live here or not, a boat tour in Barcelona is a must! 🚤🥂

This beautiful sunset tour has been possible thanks to Sea Bookings. 🍾😍
